Our ministry is about reconciliation—bringing men, women, and children into intimacy with our Heavenly Father—the Creator of the Universe. We do this through our songs, through writing books, and through sharing the vision God has placed on our hearts.
OUR VISION
The values Jesus taught (Matt. 5-7) go against those of this world—God’s Kingdom operates in REVERSE to what the world is used to. These are the values we strive to live by, and they include: being poor in spirit, mourning over sin, hungering and thirsting after righteousness, making peace, serving and giving generously to one another, living lives of prayer and fasting, living simply on this earth—not storing up treasures here on earth, but in heaven, trusting in God and having faith in the manifestation of his power.
James (possibly the brother of Jesus) wrote, “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27 NIV) The Great Reversal has a heart for orphaned children, and a portion of all donations made to our ministry goes towards connecting these children with permanent, loving homes. We personally plan to adopt from the foster care system, and we’d like to share this vision with churches and communities around the U.S.
MUSIC
The songs we write come from our intimacy with and love for God our Father. We have both been involved in leading people in worship for over twelve years, and have led ministry events both in the U.S. and Latin America. Check out our new release, “The Prodigal’s Return.” We’ll soon be producing the Spanish version of the songs, called, “El Regreso de los Prodigos”. We’re excited that some of our songs are already being played on Spanish radio stations in Atlanta and in Latin America.
BOOKS
Currently, we have two books being published by Tate Publishing, Inc. One is a children’s/pre-teen book, called “The Tree of Life.” It is the story of the Bible, from the events of Genesis, to the prophetic events in Revelations, with transitions and mini historical details tying the stories together. Readers of all ages will see God’s overall plan of salvation and his great love for humanity.
The second book is called, “The Least of These.” It’s written for teens/pre-teens, and describes exactly what abortion entails; as well as how it became legal in the United States; how it is tied to racism; how having an abortion affects a person’s life; and what a teenager can do if she finds herself pregnant. Both books will be out in early 2010!
